Hi and thank-you very much for looking, my new story will continue using the beautiful V4 (Victoria 4) & M4 (Michael) ... down-under picture 1; The sudden arrival of the police was a shock, "I'am Officer Brett (or Brent) Chalmers of Shepparton police and what can you two tell me about three loud bangs that came from this location?" ... Darren spoke to the officer and explained that it was just the car back firing, no gun shots and we were interested in buying the car from old Bill Lynch, officer Chalmers knew that name and had many dealings with Bill over the years, we explained as much as we could about what we knew and officer Chalmers said "I would be very surprised if Bill legally owned this car or anything for that matter, I will have a quick chat with Bill and then make a few inquiries about the car", "good luck" Darren said "he has been passed out for the last half hour and didn't even move when the car back fired". As officer Chalmers tried to wake Bill, Darren and I chatted about if I really wanted the bus knowing all the trouble it might be, "I do like the bus and let's see what the officer finds out about it, if it too much trouble I can forget it". picture 2; Officer Chalmers found a box under the seat and said "what do you think I might find in here?" I have a good idea what he will find and Darren is 100% sure he knows what he will find, fingers crossed we are wrong. picture 3; No real surprise the box is full of Bill's weed and smoking equipment, was not a surprise in 2015 when I saw it and still not a surprise in 2026, how could someone be so stupid for so long?. officer Chalmers told us he will get help to search the car and make inquiries as to who owns the car, if we hang around he can tell us if it is possible to buy the car or not, he would rather we took it home tonight than leave it here or impound it with a chance Bill will get it again and keep driving, ok we will have a look at some of the cars in the used car yard for now. picture 4; Wow! this would be a great car to take on a "Road Trip" haha, I do know a bit about this car and how many hours it took to create, I said to Darren "I like this car but it is for a family, you know a husband and wife and children going on a adventure to a amusement park" "??? "you want to get married and have kids just so you can drive this car on a road trip?" Darren asked haha. picture 5; "Wow!!! this car jumped 50 feet, I bet I can jump it 60 feet or this far, can we try?" ... Darren just held out his hand and said "keys please". picture 6; Oh there is a story in including this motorhome in my story, I do not know why but I saw it years ago and could not forget it and just in the past months I searched and searched for it, I did find it and purchased it online and have not had a chance to use it, I don't know how it happened but talking to Darren the subject of this motorhome came up, Darren was sure he had it at some stage and used it and was sure that MeshWorks gave customers notice that the site was closing and to download any purchases before they were lost. I searched his old hard drive from 2015 that came back to life for it but could not find it, I was searching in the download folder for a zip file and no luck, then when we were looking for something else for my story Darren said "hang on if I had the motorhome it might be installed already, a quick check of "props" folder ... KPL ... bingo it was there and also lots of extras, the big trailer for it, a stock car, 12 speed bike, kayak , surfboard and add on tv studio and camping ground and so much more and some poses for V4 and M4 and more "freebies" to go with it, it made me happy to see so much stuff for the motorhome, I may not get to use it in my Australian story so I shared it now. ps I am chatting even before I look inside. picture 7; Extras include games and my favorite drink in the fridge a quick break while waiting for news about Bill's car. picture 8; Bye for now motorhome, I do not have a licence to drive it and I can only dream of having a road trip adventure in it. picture 9; It is VW heaven here so many of them, sadly they are left hand imports also but I can see what I might do if I own one soon. picture 10; Movie night ended badly for Bill, with what was found in the car and a few outstanding warrants he will spend the week-end in lock-up and face court Monday morning. Officer Chalmers did his checks on the car and it is good news for me, Bill did own the car and officer is happy for us to take the car home tonight, he took photos of the paperwork in the car and said if Bill still agrees to sell the car in the morning he will e-mail me a receipt and I can go ahead and get a roadworthy and register the car to me after that, I will drive the car home to the orchard and Darren will follow me to see I safely arrive, that was Friday night. Saturday morning rained and Darren still goes to work just in case it stops, our boss was there and told him to go home no one else would come today with rain expected. Knock knock on my door just after 7am Saturday morning and it was Darren, got sent home so if you want to bring the car to my place later we can use the big shed on the farm to give the car a clean out and double check there are no more surprises to be found and Monday we can take it to the mechanics and see what needs doing and how long it might take, I was ready to leave now so off we went, but not right away first Darren drained the fuel tank and put in new fuel from the container he uses for his cherry picker, clean fuel did make it run smoother on the drive to his house, oh I nearly forgot Darren bought his little USB thingy (doggle?) that connects wirelessly to the internet., mobile broadband so I could check my e-mail and officer Chalmers had sent me a reciept so I could go ahead with buying the car. Monday Darren was suppose to spray at our bosses brothers farm (where our boss lives in the same house with his family) that is only a few kilometers from Darren's house so we can swap cars on Sunday he will ride his bike to work and then drop the car at the mechanics and ride his bike back home and I get to drive his car (the thing with a wing) all week, as previously mention our boss changed his mind and Darren took a week holiday instead. Monday I found two girls willing to come to Australia and work and they arrived today in Australia, I usually have to drive to Melbourne and the airport to pick them up, but because I am working on another orchard my boss said they can catch the train to Shepparton and he will pick them up at the train station, he will be surprised to see it is one of the girls who have worked for him before and another who worked with Darren at another orchard before Darren started working for our current boss. It is getting harder and harder to find girls willing to work for my boss he does not think his behaviour towards the girls is disrespectful and that the girls dont tell each other about his bad behaviour, he cannot hide on the internet like he can in the orchard, I don't want to be too negative so I will not say too much. I met the two girls Mira and Evelyn after my work today and they were happy to see me, we will stick together and help each other until picking season, if they do not find other (better) jobs they will stay a bit longer, they can only stay on one orchard for six months anyway before they need to work for at least three other employers in six months to be allowed to apply for another one year work visa, that is why I am working in other orchard at the moment also. Now it is Thursday night and was hoping the car would be right to pick up, but Frank the mechanic had a few emergency jobs so it will be Friday to pick up, part one of roadworthy will be done and the main job is it needs to be painted to complete roadworthy requirements, Sunday Darren will paint it in the big shed on the farm just needs to load his compressor and generator and spray stuff into his little trailer, the big shed has no power it was storage shed for farm equipment and years ago it was a stable for horses, early to middle of next week and the car should be mine? or not, Darren is wondering if it might be better to register it in his name so it will be insured and I can be added a second driver, I can register a car in my name but I cannot get insurance. It would be helpful if I knew how long I was going to stay in Australia, I cannot stay continuously year after year I need to stay home in-between, even if I decided to stay here forever it will take years and I would still have to leave and come back, lots to think about in coming months. Darren cancelled movie night Friday night does not want a house full of giggling girls while he is trying to watch a movie haha, just kidding it will be next Friday instead I need to spend time with Mira and Evelyn and they will probably want to sleep. up-date my tractor still has old tyres and only boys toilets are open, maybe that will have to change soon and internet is still switched on. List if jobs coming, paint numbers of new rows of fruit trees, grafting new fruit trees, training new fruit trees on the wires and planting new fruit trees in free standing rows, also we will be checking poly-pipe and sprinklers damaged by pruners and their cherry picker machines when water channel opens and weather is warmer, would you like to see pictures of three Asian girls in wet t-shirts splashing in the water??? haha ... maybe not. Thank-you for reading my story and viewing my pictures, the events of Friday night could not be told in a short story, the year seems to going so fast I keep talking about the end of year like it is six months away, but it will be here very soon, it is light when I get up in morning for my run and still light when I drive home after work, that is good because I fear I will have to drive the orchard mini bus with Mira and Evelyn that probably still has no lights. More story and pictures to come, not sure what and when, I need to make more models quickly to share more story, good night at 9:23 pm Australian time, soon daylight savings will start here October 4th, then it might be dark again in the morning and still light at bedtime, all new to me this time of year.
