max, this is a beautiful shot, especially zoomed. Yes, you captured the feel and solitude of lordi's beautiful Daz image (with the lone silhouette who seems to have dropped in from another age)...but his has this bronze-gold late day light, whereas you have this mysterious 'diffuse' light, with a melancholy feel, a feeling of reflection or introspection. His has melancholy too, but in a very different way.

Your light is beautiful, and the dabs of trees and land peeking through the bridge suggest that there's a world out there, but what hits me is the lonely bridge against that beautiful melancholic sky. (There's water too, but it's clearly secondary.) The Dutch painters from the 1600s used this light--'winter' light, diffuse and spare...this is a beautiful version of lordi's image: Both are haunting and beautiful. A fine visual dialogue between you two...

I had a strange habit of visiting parks during uncomfortably cold weather, or off-peak hours ... lol.

Sometimes there wasn't a single human to be seen!

Like it says on the image: North shore of Long Island (that park was about 55 Km east of Manhattan)

And it wasn't famous at all, not even one tiny bit ... until now, since the whole world suddenly seems to be interested in it;-))

So basically YOU made it famous by setting up just the right conditions for the reaction to occur!

Don't know about "pretty", but in Europe they have stone bridges that will outlast this one by 1000 years;-)

Oh, I can tell you That: Beyond this bridge was more trees, bushes, squirrels and birds, but no people because it was too cold.

Sadly, to my disappointment, there were no space aliens, no vampires, no robots, and no beautiful elves.

It was just a dull, quiet and relaxing day.

That may be so, but those bridges are centuries old. Unfortunately, we have a great many new bridges that are now in a dreadful state, and some have even collapsed. It seems no one builds with that kind of quality anymore :)

True. I've seen happy young Europeans living in stone houses that were 400 years old.

Sadly, modern engineers (and their employers) don't care that wood decays, and steel rusts away;-))

This is a great photograph that compliments the similarities of the art work that Lordi did previously...Its a nice thought that you can now recreate an AI image animation from this same photograph by using it as a reference image and then prompting what ever you wanted to cross this bridge.

Perhaps a group of soldiers going to battle with rolling tanks and heavily armored artillery in a war like sci-fi scene against an alien enemy from outer space. Or a horror scene where spiders have invaded the city and you can show them crossing this bridge by the hundred's ready to take over the planet, as humans are seen waiting for them with blow torches ready to fight them off and make their last stand on this bridge. OK Max, my apologies since I got a bit carried away there for a moment. lol :)

Why not just generate a group of happy kids crossing the bridge while riding their bicycles while a happy smiling clown holding a red balloon waits for them at the other side of the bridge. OK Max my apologies once again as my mind is presently in Halloween mode and I just had to include the clown with the red balloon! lol :)
