Es scheint, dass man auch im All die Weichteile verliert, wenn man lange genug wartet. Nicht eigentlich eine schöne Szene aber trotzdem wunderbar gemacht.

Danke dir, Horo. Ich denke, solange man noch Atmosphäre in der Kapsel hat und Bakterien aktiv sein können, sind weichteile da auch schnell mal weg :D

Thanks. I try to create at least one new render, though elaborate ones can easily take two or three days to get everything just right. But when I have the time and the mood strikes, I might do as many as three or four in a day.

There may still be bacterial activity so long as air is present, but once the power gives out and the environment reaches the ambient temperature of space, decomposition should stop and a sort of mummification of the remains should take place.
Though a skeleton in a space suit is rather more dramatic. :-)

Are you sure he is dead beyond any reasonable doubt? I saw this movie about ambulances here in the US and how the paramedics can not pronounce a person dead till the body reaches the hospital and a certified doctor claims that he is officially dead and then writes down the time of death on a chart.

I can only imagine how that would go for this astronaut and his time of estimated death! lol :)

wow, I honestly didn't see the skull at first...I thought it maybe was a dog...it's a skull! No wonder everyone's talking about him dying. And of course you're saying he may just be 'late'...I'd pay to see him land, go back to headquarters, pull off his helmet, say, "rough day..." and go home. It's really well done (no suprise) and the angle is right for a person in a space capsule in flight...(I had no idea how much bryce could do!)

laughs You're being too nice to me again. But it really is a funny image—him getting out in that state and just telling his superior he had a few minor issues with the mission, but nothing serious laughs. But yeah, Bryce offers some great things to do.
