Today, some tapestries to show you. All photos, sometimes from several years ago.
Another, this time from XVIIth century. It was a time where myths from Roma and Greece had success.
Here the beginning from Troy war. Helen and Paris are together. Watch like she isn't sad to be far from her husband, for a supposed kidnapped woman ;) Yeah, I admit, I never liked Helen since the day I put my nose in the myths of Greece.

Paris wasn't too cool a person either, lol. You caught the contrasts, the colors (faded with time, but still very recognizable) and the tall dimension of this impressive tapestry. They really packed people into these things..it's a very crowded composition (the tapesty---not your photo). You probably had to move around a lot to get these tapestries from top to bottom. Strong photo of this tall, impressive tapestry.
