Well having worked in Belfast and that's were the ship was built I just had to do this

That was very tragic, so many lives lost. As always, your illustrations are very good.
They said it could not sink but God's hand proved them wrong the man who draw up the plans for the ship wanted to put more lifeboats on the Titanic but was shot down on this by the Owners they said even the hand of GOD could not sink the ship
It was so sad they had to lose so many lives before they would put in all the safety changes. They put profit before people.

When I see those large ship that has up to 4000 people on it how they could ever get them off the ship if anything happen

After 1912 there was a rule made that a ship must have lifeboat room for all I just do not know where those big ship with maybe up to 3000 + people then crew would find room for the lifeboats, it is the same about the radio watch most ships do not have a 24 hr radio watch now days they relay on mobile phones and internet now there is such things as Sat phones that give world wide cover but who has them

Yes a very sad story but in 1912 on that cold night so many froze in the water
