I just saw a photo of a cockpit in Steve's gallery (pic). I've never flown a plane---but then I remembered that I've worked in digital-audio software. It's a cockpit all its own. If you're interested, zoom full size: This is an average "session". Trust me, Beethoven would've said "you've GOT to be kidding!" and stormed outa the room. This is typical Pro music software. (Logic Pro.) It's not as maddening as Blender (which I'm convinced was devised as a form of Torture, outlawed by the Geneva Conventions), but it's a bear. Luckily I worked in a few music-engineering studios, with mixers and such: So this wasn't a total blowout... Thanks for your visits!
