ein sehr schöner Render eine Rose für ....
Genau, danke dir Paulienchen
Makaber aber schoen. Vermutlich ist der Tod eine sanfte Beruehrung, der Weg oder der Augenblick kurz davor ist es weniger :(
Ja, aber am ende ist der Sensenmann meist der, der eine Erlösung bringt.
Very nice render.
Many thanks, Gisela
Please take no offense, but glancing by this image in the thumbnails, I was convinced it was some more AI work. Only after viewing the larger image did I see that it was yet another impressive Lordi creation! Much as I am opposed to AI art, I am perpetually impressed with the images nonetheless. Your image powerfully demonstrates that expertly executed human renders can achieve the breathtaking detail and range of light that most AI agents seem to bang out in mere minutes. This is an absolutely stunning render! And I remain completely mystified as to how you are able to produce such consistently impressive work with such frequency. Amazing!
Thanks, gmvgmvgmv. I don't take it the wrong way; I actually view it as a compliment. Admittedly, AI could probably have done it in a minute. It took me about two hours to put that HD head onto the body, fit a suitable dForce robe, place the rose in her hand, and set up the lighting. The actual rendering took barely 12 minutes since the scene is kept really simple. It is certainly possible to achieve AI-level quality yourself—Ulf Eisenbart, for example, has a lot of near-photorealistic work created in DAZ. By the way, I’ve attached another screenshot. It really is DAZ :D
What takes you less than a day typically requires weeks for me to complete. Admittedly, doing all of my own modeling soaks up many hours, but first hitting upon a concept, setting up the camera angle/POV, and then getting the atmospherics and light just right, involve many more days of work. Luckily, I enjoy the process. The fact that you can come up with such interesting and frequently thought-provoking concepts so regularly is a testament to your considerable talent.
Thanks again. Modeling—yes—that’s my weak point. I can handle simple Boolean operations in Bryce and create things that way, but so far, Blender hasn't really hooked me enough to actually model something complex from scratch. It might be because, in the past—at least at the beginning—I always had a teacher to show me the ropes, whereas with Blender, I’d have to start completely from zero on my own. Or maybe I’m just too old now to learn something entirely new :D
Frag mich welcher Duft, bzw. Gestank, am stärksten ist. Sehr nett gemacht
lol Stimmt.
lach Danke, Frau Anwalt :D
..eine perfekte Szene und hmmm, "Charakter"
lach Danke dir.
It may be a gentle touch, but it's death nevertheless! Please do not have this guy visit me soon as I have a project to finish for Halloween...seems like death comes for all of us when we least expect it! The contrast with the red rose and the way you composed this one, adds a touch of class to this most unwelcome visitor! :)
Thanks, Johnny. I can't give orders to the gentleman—he has his own schedule—but I don't think he'll be here all that soon. He's always got a lot to do :D
Very Clever work..
Many thanks, pc_artist
Fantastic gothic character 👍🙋♂️
Thanks, Saby55
Nicely done!
Many thanks, starship64
Where did you get the Skeletal figure , please ?
You are most welcome.. Keep up the Excellent work... !
It’s a bit of a kitbash. The skull is from DAZ’s Dark Sovereign HD. However, since that figure has a very high polygon count and lacks nice-looking bony hands, I attached the head to a G8 figure (for which I have more morphs) and morphed the hands accordingly.
Grand Kitbashing !!!
:)
Very cool render!
Thanks a lot, ArtByMel
Super !
thank you, water
Great work with light and shadow! And he's got a rose---how sweet! And he wears rings. Death with a touch of humor...And the 2d image is I assume from the software? (I don't know Daz, so I can't say.) It's always fascinating to see what all of you work with, in 3D. Do you give him intructions? ("A little to the left---yes---now smile---a little more---a litttttttle more---that's it! Ok, that's a wrap...) (that's what I went through when I did portrait work. But not with models like this...) Love the piece.
(you got some great comments here, and well-deserved compliments)
laughs Glad you like it. Yeah, it was made in DAZ Studio; it would be great if you could just tell the model, "A bit further to the left and smile." That’s the kind of thing AI can do. Old-school 3D artists have to get everything looking exactly the way they want it by hand.
