Description
The terrain was self made and given a material from "High Resolution Terrains 2". Left the Patrol Ship by Angel Estevez 2006 (once available at Daz 3D) and at right the Construction Site from "Deep Space HDRI 1" like the "DS-Sky01" HDRI for the sky and the ambient light (everything available at Daz 3D). The key light is by the sun. A rather not inhabitable part of a far away world is investigated.

It certainly looks hot, hot, hot. Probably not a great place for colonisation. :-)
Thank you Staticon, I agree with you that this is not the best place to colonise.
This image is fascinating, but I’d add a bit more depth of field to the rendering. The stars in the distance are blurred (I know, that’s a limitation of the HDRI background), whilst the outline of the terrain is perfectly in focus and creates a contrast with the sky. It’s a shame (at least for those with an eye trained in photography) and spoils what is otherwise a rather good rendering.
Thank you zakalwe. I cannot deny what you say about the missing focus in the far distance. The scene is not very fortunate to use DOF (depth of field) to hide the missing sharpness of the sky.
Fantastischer Planet mit den Lavaspuren. Auch die Schiffe sehen gut aus.
Vielen Dank lordi.
