Thank you so much Saby and I am not sure if I will make a follow up, but I kind of left it up in the air just in case I decide to go ahead and try to make the next one a bit better. If I come up with a good enough follow up story, I will do it for sure! :)

Many times I have wanted to approach you with the idea of doing a few of your awesome images, but then again I get side tracked with doing something else. If you ever want me to do a few of your images into animations, just reach out to me and I will do my best to make it happen my friend.

Maybe I can do a group animation of a few artists on this site who do not mind having their work turned into one animation where I do with more than one artist in it. (I may be able to do 2 or 3 artists in a single animation that is representative of the talents of the group) :)

Car reminds me from Back to the Future ;) Those guys will have a shock soon I guess. Wonder how the droid will behave by himself when remembering, not just from the list but from who he was. But he needs also some repair shop to deal with his leg.

I want to thank you Steve for your continued support of me and the so many artist on this site who you take the time to support. If you are interested in me doing a few images of yours, I would be more than happy to do so. One idea I am thinking about and which I mentioned to Magik on a comment above, is doing a group of artists on this site (of say 2 or three)

I can then do an animation that covers some of the art work performed by the group into a single animation. I just have to find out how open to the idea you may all be to this and then if all agree, I will get started on an animation. :)

Now that this one is finished, I am now on to Maxine and her Rock Top Pizza Grand opening night where her special galactic guests will be invited...including you of course! lol :)

Just to give you a small glimpse as to the story board of what I plan to do with her...she will soon be re-opening her newly remodeled Rock Top Pizza restaurant where her and the newly appointed sous chef will be working with her to create the best galactic Pizza that is guaranteed to be an out of this world experience for those lucky enough to journey there! As you know, these places are not easy to get to (you having designed these restaurants high on top of mountains)

i recommend arriving by shuttle which is a lot easier than climbing the stairs to the top of the mountain.

I have personally secured a first class golden ticket aboard a shuttle flown by captain Flynt with Dorothy as her side-kick seated beside her, just in case any trouble is encountered along the way, she will provide the security!

I have just started with the storyboard but I will fill you in with more info as I get further along. :)

Well Johnny, you sure got me curious about this Rock Top Pizza Grand opening of yours :-)

I do miss my Dorothy and her friends, as I haven't seen them since I got totally distracted by a completely different project which makes my last one puny by comparison.

And no worries about the pizzeria access -- in a world of gravity-repulsion tech, no rock top is difficult to access ;-)

Part of me wants to see that poor droid get its memory back, but I think it might be a more powerful story if that never happens. A big part of what makes evil truly evil is that often the harm that it does can't be undone. Either way, this is amazing work!

I want to thank you so much for viewing this video and I completely agree with you that leaving it as it is creates a good powerful ending. Yet sometimes, so many questions are left unanswered that providing perhaps answers to them can be equally as as enlightening in order to shed more light into the story.

You know that I am not just a fan von AI, but what you are able to create is more than unbelievable and fantastic. A perfect animation and a real great story. Actually, movie studios should be waiting for someone like you. Maybe a great combination of, let´s say, real film and AI...

I want to thank you for always giving me such great support my friend. I know you may not be a fan of AI and I totally understand that point, as I was once in the same way of thinking towards AI, until I started using it with my own 3ds Max renders. Unfortunately many that previously viewed my animations, no longer do because of AI and I harbor no ill feelings about that since I completely understand the stance many have taken against AI.

The AI developers really screwed up in the way they released it by stealing content from so many artists. If only they had presented it in an honest way by coordinating with the art community and asking first for permission from every artist who's AI was trained on. If they had done that, the negative image of AI today would not exist.

I am going to take this opportunity to ask if you would not mind me using one of your images for me use in an animation sometime in the near future. I think it would be awesome to portray one of your characters in a similar style as to the way I created "Frankenstein". I am not sure when I could get started with it but I would shoot for it to be completed by Halloween...just in time for all the horror monsters to come out! :)

Thank you so much for viewing this animation my friend...I just want you to know that I am always amazed by your wonderful images in your gallery! Your unique surreal style intrigues my in wanting to create an animation with them perhaps sometime in the future. :)

I keep promising to write shorter comments, but since you work with others' work, and make these "daisy chains" of creative inspirations, I gotta share. First, it's so classy that you show us the original images by the artists whose work you use---so we can see the beautiful originals, but also so we can see what you did with them. I finally visited lordi's gallery, and he does wonderful bryce work, and has real global fare too. (I left some comments, and will return soon.) I can see how you're inspired by him. It's amazing how you constructed this tale from the two pieces you used: lordi's images are beautiful and touching; and then you come along and spin a tale no one would've dreamt of, and take it a whole new direction. I also just saw Disclosure Day (on streaming), so I could relate to your story line.

But you took the poignant feel of lordi's droid---who was very poignant to begin with---and pursued the poignant part all the more. The poignance of lordi's image must've struck a deep chord in you; where you brought us into his pain and abandonment. I see how you riff off of others' work very sensitively...and you come up with tales that go to whole new places. This was a beautiful take-off on lordi's image. The scenes where that woman help the droid are very touching.

Those scenes are in stark contrast to the last scene with the replacement droid. We see the hard cold reality of a govt that stops people in their tracks, aiming to eliminate them if necessary. I half expected to see Colin Firth show up! But you didn't need him. You have your own characters and vision.

Your opening shot starts w/ the car zooming in---very effective. The urban scene has great light, and is menacing as well as dazzling. When they drag the poor droid out of the car, you created a great sliding camera---the droid seems to be in mid air. Then when the rescue droid takes the depleted droid into the back of the car, you have a great shot, w/ complex light, and wonderful composition: At one point, we see the droid and his teddy bear, and the woman and her droid dog: a really fine pairing. Beautiful shot.

And the final scene is the tough ending---ie, they'll continue no matter what. Your final shot shot---ie, the low pov above the puddle-filled alley---is terrific. Great hues and textures. Another cinematic gem from you.

Honestly, I'm pondering a literary follow up to this. I probably won't be able to pursue it, so I won't even ask you about it, but at some point I might want to do that in the future, with something you've created. Continuing the 'chain' from one artist to another (since you often use other artists' work to inspire your own. I'd ask your permission, but it is a manner of art that has always been exciting in my years in the arts. (So you know, the piece I wrote for your raptors video was NOT poignant or touching---it was plain idiotic. I mean at one point the cast climbs up the web page and tears down my image, 'cause it's so silly; the opening scene of your video has the raptor coming out in a gucci scarf, a Rolex, a 20,000 Prada smoking jacket, surrounded by groupies, signing autographs, and refusing to do the part because it's not "him". Later, several extras go bonkers because they never worked with "AI"s before and claim they got huge rashes; or Chloe, having been abandoned by the raptor, does a speech right out of Lady Macbeth, and so over-acts everyone weeps and she dies on the spot ((and gets rave reviews)). I mean, it was idiotic and a mess. (It's how most of my humor pieces go.) So be happy I never finished it 'cause it could set you back for months. I just wanted a "behind the scenes" piece...but it died prematurely. Anyway, maybe one day I'll offer a tale idea to one of your videos. I'll let you know if I think of it.

Wow Mark, I am always amazed with your comments to my videos and this one is as detailed as all the previous one's you have left before on my other animations throughout the many years we have been on this site.

It would be a privilege if you were to continue this open ended story from where I left this one. Perhaps you can elaborate with more details into a world where this syndicate boss who is adamant at protecting the secret list that could take down the organization if it were to be revealed. What exactly is in this list?

Perhaps your story can shed some light as to what the droid that got his memory wiped clean knew about the syndicate. What was so secret that he had to get his memory wiped clean. Why or how did his leg get damaged and why was he abandoned in an alley way? You could also shed some light as to what type of friends the female bot droid that helped him had...perhaps she had friends with special hi-tech equipment machines that was able to recover lost memories that were meant to be wiped clean...this machine was able to recover and rebuild his past memory by placing together the fragments he still had in his head in order to assemble them into a complete memory recall.

Who was he and what exactly did he do while he was active in the organization, prior to him being abandoned? What will he now do with his memory being rebuilt once again? Will he seek revenge or will he reveal the secrets that he knew about the syndicate to the world? What will the new shiny droid that he was replaced with do for the organization and how will he be utilized by his new syndicate boss? What will be his new job as a replacement to the previous droid? Who exactly is that other man that always accompanies the boss...is he, his body guard or a business associate?

The above suggestions are just some of the questions I would have if I was to pursue this further Mark...but as you being the previous "Artist of the Year" here at Renderosity, you my fried is more qualified than any humble attempt I could ever do in coming up with a follow up story. I am passing the baton to you...take this story where your ever your creativity takes you Mark!

Please do this on your free time as there is no hurry my friend! :)

What could I say to express my admiration and be original ? This is perfect almost as good as what Spielberg does ! The weather work in particular is amazing. Superb animation and story ; as I said several times, you're a master.

Lately I have been putting out the idea of wanting to do a few more animations from fellow artists whose images from this site I would use.

So far I have a few artists that have gladly offered me their images to use for an animation. If you would like to be included, please let me know so that I can start thinking about the difficult process of selecting which one or two of your images to turn into an animation from your wonderful gallery, since you have done so many great ones throughout the years. :)

Thank you for once again for your amazing support on viewing another one of my animations. Doing this droid project was fun and I really enjoyed coming up with my humble little story for how it concluded. I may do a follow up, but at the moment I am having a great time doing a few animations from art work who other artists on this site have done.

If you would like to get on my list of projects I can do by using one or two of your images and turning them into animations, let me know and I will find a way to make it happen sometime this year for sure. :)
