I used to make thousands of small trees like that with just terrains ... yes, I cheated with terrains, trying to fool viewers that they were real trees ... I was sooo bad that I deserved a spanking ;-)

laughs I don't think it was that bad. Those suggested forests down at the foot of the mountain are just terrain features, after all. Full-scale forests in Bryce are usually a bit of a hassle.
