Description
Toddlers do not understand death—neither its meaning and consequences nor the concept itself.
In a child's world, nothing really changes; indeed, they seem to need the stability provided by this sense of immutability in order to cope with their surroundings.
Presumably, when a close relative or even a parent passes away, very young children are told the person has gone on a journey, as this is something they can grasp more easily.
That is likely why they do not fear death: it lies outside their (normal) realm of experience.

Klasse Gegensatz. gefällt mir gut.
Ich mag sowohl extreme Gegensätze, als auch den Umstand, gewisse Erwartungshaltungen nicht zu bedienen.
Nichts ist langweiliger als das Erwartbare, aber in diesem Fall hat es auch noch einen realen Hintergrund! In meinem erweiterten Bekanntenkreis ist jemand gestorben und es betraf auch ein kleines Kind, das einen geliebten Menschen verloren hatte (die Oma!).
Oh, okay. Das klingt schlimm. Aber du hast recht, Kinder gehen mit dem Thema noch unbefangener um als wir.
Kinder sind so tapfer! Mein Enkel ist nur eine Woche alt geworden und nie aufgewacht, aber er hat so gekämpft! Diese Serie hier hat wieder mit mir gesprochen... Und diesmal habe ich keinen Witz draus machen können.
Das Thema Tod ist auch generell eher ungeeignet, um Witze darüber zu machen.
Ich habe mich deshalb für eine eher wohlwollende, versöhnliche Variante entschieden, letztendlich entkommt ja niemand dem Unausweichlichen!
