Description
Okay, the shader was originally released for Dawn 2, but I repurposed it for La Femme and tweaked it a little.
Here's a tiny little guide showing how you can recreate it (at least for La Femme, and probably La Femme 2 as well). Maybe it will also give you an idea of how to adapt it for other figures.
Oh, and I honestly don't know exactly why it works... but it does for the fingernails. At least on La Femme. 😄 Unfortunately, it doesn't work well on La Femme's toenails—the shader doesn't look very nice there.

I am noticing that the fingernails are appearing more grayish than they should be. I suggest giving the base color a slight pink tint to make the nails blend more naturally. Your new transparency map works very well. so there is no need to alter it. But the base color needs to be changed.
