A little preview of an upcoming freebie. 😊 Over the past few weeks, I've had the pleasure of working on a small community project together with some wonderful people. It all started with ODF's Skin Shader, which he kindly allowed to be shared with the community. hborre then adapted it for Poser 12 and Poser 14 and also created an Enhanced version using Compound Nodes for Poser 12, 13 and 14. The included shaders are a universal single material that can be applied to virtually any figure and, if desired, to many other objects as well. The images show a few direct comparisons: Image 1: ODF Skin Shader ↔ Original La Femme materials Image 2: hborre Enhanced Skin Shader ↔ Original La Femme materials (tiny changes in Material Room for skin and lips) Image 3: ODF Skin Shader ↔ EZSkin Image 4: hborre Enhanced Skin Shader ↔ EZSkin (out of the box) Image 5: Help for ODF Skin Shader Image 6: Help for hborre Enhanced Skin Shader The goal isn't to show that one shader is "better" than another. Each one has its own strengths and a slightly different approach. These renders are simply meant to give you an impression of the results you can achieve. Images 5 and 6 are the reference guides included with the freebie. They highlight some of the shader settings that can easily be adjusted to customize the look of the skin. The freebie will be released as soon as the final testing is complete.
