Description
This model when downloaded was not properly UV mapped, though it was beautifully modelled. It had no side mirrors, no plates, wheelie bars instead of the towing hook, no filler cap, no door handles, no front indicator lights, no front bumper and it wasn't rigged. There were also no textures. The pickup bed could not be used because there was a huge V8 engine mounted in it. Now it's properly UV mapped and fully rigged in Blender, and I removed the V8 engine and closed up the cover over the pickup bed. Lots of other minor tweaks and my own textures.
I have also made a van out of this, images to follow.

cool old style.
I aim to use it in a 3D comic story set in the mid 1960s, so the style was needed. I do love the look of the Econoline original vehicles, they just looked superb. Thanks for the visit.
Superb pickup. You've done a great job its conversion. :-)
Thanks, it was a fun project and fairly short — started Friday evening and finished Saturday evening, including the van version. I like short projects as well as the bigger ones.
i would use this in poser renders if it was for poser users.
Thanks! It was an untextured Wavefront Object file, so it would import into Poser but would be a lot of work to set up properly. Setting up vehicles in Blender is easier and Blender is what I use so freebies like this are just great.
Well done, you suped it up and tricked it out.
