Neon bleeds through the fog outside a quiet tea house while RepDetect Voss waits, watching.
Across the room sits Rei— a reputation for leaving no fingerprints on the people she breaks. She doesn't threaten. She doesn't coerce. She listens. She smiles. By the time her conversations are over, people have usually told her everything she came to learn.
Sometimes the deadliest weapon in a city full of guns is a conversation over tea.
