Description
This fantasy drawing is from a while ago, made with a black pen, colored pencils and felt-tip pens.
Not for sale at the post office, only from me, lol. :D
It's been a while, and at the moment I can't find the peace and quiet to get things like this done.

I'm commening on one, today, just to assure you that I'm still alive and breathing! I'll comment on more soon.
I loved this, the minute it went up. It reminds me of the collages Helle posted, a ways back. Very playful segments, all put together into a mini-carnival. You have a bird-like/cat-like creature in the top-left square. And some fish and marine-like creatures in 3 of the other squares. And the bottom right-side rectangle is like butterflies, a bird, a snake, and leaves, etc. Your nature imagery is a mix of real creatures with wild imaginations straight from your soul.
And they all form a presentation, a bit of mini-theater that they performed just for us. (Maybe afterwards they'll all go their separate ways---on the trolley, some in an uber, while some will walk...) And some of them got loose---the creatures at the bottom---who are connected to the big cornucopia on top. (Big floating, balloon-like creatures on top. One is almost smiling!) And all made with pens and pencils.
This is a very playful and very thoughtful style. I wish actual postal stamps looked like this. (I'd MUCH rather see these creatures on a stamp than a president.) Thiis delightful, Jacomina. I'll be back for more soon. (And your dragonfly shots were amazingly detailed, and very powerful closeups. When you post photos, you remind me, again and again, how good you are at it.) And again your crown is well deserved, Mark, and I love that you compare this to Helle's collage, I miss her a lot here. Your thoughts when looking at 'something' here are always so special, but, yes, you are special too, my friend.
For a while I didn't have enough rest in my soul to draw anything again, but luckily I picked it up, it's wonderful to let yourself go with pencils and pens. I think I got this from my father, he was good with calligraphy and also made fantastic things with glass and lead.
Hopefully your health is improving, I'm a bit unlucky, and got again 2 stress-related issues, which I would never have bought myself.;-)
