This and the next one are not part of my main story, just something my untamed Muse sent me from her vacation ;-)
Lauren was deeply in love. When her lover was called off for brief service to the King she waited and waited but he never returned. Eventually she died from a broken heart.

This image looks very cinematic and so well done Max, I just don't understand what business with the king could have been more important than being with this beauty. Ok I do understand that back then if you did not listen to the King is was most likely off with your head. :)

Funny thing -- this was supposed to be just a simple 2 image quickie, but I can suddenly see a whole story developing here! Amazing how inspiration sprouts from the tiniest seed :-)
