I'd take it. I have Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and arthritis. Moving about is painful and leaves me short of breath.
To be forever young is an inviting prospect as I still have so much I'd like to do but cannot because of my conditions. Plus I'd like to live quite a lot longer than is likely.
Very good image, though I don't think the red dress would suit me. ;-)
Well, it certainly sounds like switching to a mechanical body appeals to you—at least for now. But who knows how that might feel a hundred years down the line... even without a red dress. :D
When I feel ready to pass on, I can remove the batteries. :-D
laughs If only it were that simple... but SamaraBlue is right. We should just make use of the time we have and make the best of it.
interesting concept...in putting 1's mind or copying one's mind in a robot or similar android, that has the face of the original. This concept makes me think this thought...if 1 could clone themselves , and this has as been going on for sometime.. Thought : " Are you the original, or the clone who thinks they are original,or the original who thinks they are a clone who thinks they are the original ??? "
Profound. But a clone is never the original—since, I think, he has never experienced what the original went through.
But the experiences are something the mind retains , are they not ? and if a clone has the same mind as the original.. how would they know these are not real and not the memories from the original ??... - there lies the conundrum ??
However, I also believe that a body possesses something akin to muscle memory. Cloning that would be more than difficult.
Ok. :)
Nichr sicher: rust never sleeps
Ist alles rostfrei und Plaste-Elaste. :)
