Cool. These birds are rarely here in cape Breton - seen more often in central Nova scotia.

Saw 1 of those on the Tv show about the Bronz Zoo in New York. where a wounded Turkey Vulture was brought to the zoo from animal care shelter as they thought it may not be able to survive in the wild with a damages foot.. it did and did so well at the zoo, they brought to a rehabilitation place that could help it do even better and was released later and flew off , leaving the zoo staff with happy smile as it was able to live free and wild after all.
