Description
A colour photo with no postwork exactly as taken 20 years ago on a Canon A70 Powershot.
Sometimes you don't have to do anything except to be in the right place at the right time. Although being in the right place at the right time can sometimes take a lot of research and preparation. But not in this case - it was just good fortune.
Image 2 shows that there's a good spread of tonal range, but with a bit too much at the black end.
The additional images are screenshots after opening the image in GIMP 3.0.4 and previewing (not applying) various operations to the image
3 - Saturation to 0 (monochrome)
4 - Saturation to 2 (max-ish)
5 - just adjusting the curve to see how much detail has actually been capture in the dark areas - quite a lot!
I'd guess the bright patch bottom right is lens flare from the low sun?
