Description
Both calendrically and seasonally, it is currently spring in the Northern Hemisphere—leaning, in fact, more towards summer.
Surprisingly, however, news broke today that a sudden cold snap has hit parts of eastern Germany, bringing snowfall (!!!) down to altitudes of approximately 600 meters!

May be it is as well I don't live in Germany
Earlier, the news reported massive snowfalls in Bavaria—that is, southern Germany—affecting even the autobahns and leading to accidents (presumably because almost every driver has already switched to summer tires). It’s a crazy world... and the weather, apparently, is no exception!
Beautiful set of snow images welcoming the Winter snow, ,but it just seems a bit early for that since Summer has not officially started yet. Its hard to believe the weather has affected eastern Germany...here in southern California, San Diego, the average temperature still hovers at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. :)
