This made with two different Apophysis fractals, mixed together in PSP.
Actually the title should be:
"It's storming in my head".
A heavy storm
without balance.
A storm
that forces you.
But, hey storm
I will brave you!

Fantastische fractal prent. Kleuren zijn prachtig, de beweging die erin zit .Als het zulke kunst maakt de storm in je hoofd dan mag het nog even doorgaan maar de werkelijkheid is wel anders voor je.

I"m not sure if I commented on this (privately)---I don't think I did. I know you are evoking the storms inside you; and your short poem (a haiku? it has 17 syllables) speaks of the battle to brave those inner storms.
The Fractal has very defined shapes against a soft background...the background is like pure lights...But the foreground suggests tangled wires and "ganglia" (or zenuwknopen?)...as the wires flare out into space, they must come back to the zenuwknopen, where they tangle and create tension---even sparks of light (there's one bright spark here, almost a starburst). I can see how this evokes your inner struggles and pains...it's a very vivid reprentation. Though the colors are quite rich---golds, strong primary colors, beautiful morphing yellows and ambers, etc.
For all its inner torture, this is also beautiful. I wish so deeply that your struggles would be overtaken by beauty, so that their intensity would be swallowed-up by radiance. I'm deeply sorry for your pain, but very grateful for your beauty. That beauty comes through this powerful inward piece. And you're very brave to share these deep pieces with the world. That's not easy to do.
I'm very moved, and also grateful for everything you share, describe, and wish, Mark. I mean: "to wish something on someone". I really admire your view on art, you always let your feelings speak; feeling, compassion, and then also your beautiful interpretations. No one can do this better than you, Mark.
You know, my mind and body are buzzing al the time, and I think that this fractal is a reflection of this. Haha, unfortunately I don't have an 'off switch' button, everything goes crazy. But they aren't empty phrases. ;-) The latter would rhyme in Dutch and imply a 'quip'.
