Description
The Probe With A Soul
===================
She was young, beautiful.
She was Deltan but swore to be celibate.
For her race emitted pheromones that could affect humanoids of the opposite
Gender, as 1 young human could attest to.
She found him again, on the Enterprise that was recently refitted ..
She never asked for what happened to her..
For her mind, her soul to be somehow put inside a probe, that was a robotic version of her physical form.
At first, probably due to the shock and trauma of what she went through , her actual mind was inactive
But seeing her former lover, she started to come out just a little ;
but the being that imprisoned her was too strong and kept her from
letting them know.
And so, her robotic form resumed its programing, to investigate the carbon units that invested the being called Enterprise, for her captor was also a machine .
So trapped into a machine version of herself, she waited for the time to let them know - her mind , her soul was inside it..
That she was A Probe With A Soul !

That movie was soooo long ago. That I went to the movie theater to watch it. yah.
I know.. i still remember going to see with a cousin of mine, who was staying with my mum and me, while we were away on holiday.. - Live Long and Prosper... Glad my email brought back a memory .. :D
Okay this concept is wild in the best way - "probe with a soul" is lowkey haunting but kinda beautiful too 😄 That pose sells it hard, like she knows something and can’t fully say it... creepy sci-fi vibes done right
Also the clean setup + that subtle glow detail? nice touch, feels very Enterprise-core Now I’m curious - does she ever break the programming and warn them, or is she stuck playing observer forever?

That was really grim what they did to that character, and no one really batted an eye after.
Well I understand the movie was a rushed job.. trying to catch in on the Star Wars Fever as in increased popularity of Sci-fi movies. I also read - Roddenberry wanted to a new star trek but with younger character, cadets , young counterparts to the original characters.. but Then Star Wars came out, and the studio decide they wanted a movie to compete with Stars Wars but they wanted it done quickly ...so the younger characters were scrapped..
The movie had a good story, but rushed. The uniforms were the worst ever, and the studio practically pushed Roddenberry to the back of the set. They should have gone with his original script rather than the one they finally pushed through. Other than a few scenes; the movie was too tech and boring. And that coming from a huge trek fan. Good image, by the way.
