Description
"Hey, this is private property, you can't have your picnic there!"
"My big purple friend said I can have my picnic anywhere I like."
"Uh, Oh. Perhaps I shall just move on..."
OK, this is very old. I can't even remember what computer I had when I rendered it, though I do seem to remember I left it rendering in Bryce overnight so I could render it at 4500x3000. It was some kind of PowerMac, for those who know what that was. Ha ha, that render size and scene complexity wouldn't take more than a couple of minutes on my current machine...
Progress eh?
I posted this because in spite of the fact that it is very primitive compared to what I can do now I still quite like it, and I think I got the pose just right on the dragon. It was fun at the time and still kind of looks like fun now. I may rework this with more up to date content in Blender, just to see what I can do with the same theme.

A powerful dragon. I think the lady shouldn't have any problems if someone wants to harm her.
Well I wouldn't argue with him! Thanks for visiting.
Ugh, Bryce, my old nemesis! shakes fist
Yeah, not always the easiest application to deal with, but at the time the best price for a decent 3D rendering system on the market. A lot of people, many of them now professionals, got their start in 3D using Bryce.
But the user interface was weird!
Impressing and well done scene.
Coming from you that's a big compliment! Thanks for the visit.
Bryce and Poser were originally created by the same company. That's why the interfaces are similar.
Kai Krause was the reason, he was the interface designer for both. He is the reason for the best features of the user interfaces and the insane choices that were made too.
A truly impressive dragon in a charming scene. Very nicely done. Just shows what Bryce was capable of. :-)
