Description
I swear most of these wrens were busy laughing at me from the reeds. Always easy to hear, impossible to see as they rarely popup up out of the grass. Lucky this one had a nest near by and had to get some bedding off the cattails for the pad.

Oh, what beautiful shots these are, and what a beautiful atmosphere. I really enjoy this, so thank you for sharing. We have a common wren in the garden, we suspect it has a nest behind one of our Rhodondendrons.
Thank you. We have pacific wrens near our place. Chatty little birds but hard to spot. Those in the photographs were marsh wrens, spent hours looking for them even though there were dozens and dozens in the cat tails :)
