I love the mix of formality with play here. The arrangement has a very delicate quality, a thought-out quality. But the creaures are wonderfully playful and even silly. The dog looks peeved or just 'sehr verrückt' (he's crazy with life), the sheep on the left is delightul, the parrot is having a great time, etc. With peerless reflections, and a deep night sky. You call this 'still life', but it also has a subtle humor and wildness hidden inside. Delightful.
