A really excellent model, ready rigged for Blender, that I bought today. Here displayed with a human for scale, I think the man is about 1.83m tall, or roughly six feet. The colours on the models are of course just speculation, but at least in this case they are reasonable speculation. The one with the bright crest is the male. I have wanted a good parasaurolophus model for ages so I am delighted to finally get this one. It ate my discretionary budget for the month, but that's fine as it is such a good model, coming with 8k textures and two levels of mesh detail, with 18,000 polygons (shown here) or 82,000 polygons if you want the finest possible detail for close-ups. I think this model is good enough for feature film use so I left a good review. The parasaurolophus was no giant by the standards of its day yet weighed roughly five to five and a half tons fully grown — as much as a full-grown female African bush elephant. It was unusual because it walked on all fours but could also walk on two legs, probably something it did mostly when hurrying, or perhaps when taking a look around to check for predators.
