There are three types of turtles in the area I like to go to: Red Eared Sliders (not native), Painted Turtle (native) and snapping turtles (native). I have captured all three kinds over time and they have been all sorts of sizes (though the snapping ones can be the biggest!). It's hard to say which one I see more frequently, I do see all three a good number of times :)
