Hello dear friends, Spring has never been so early in the Netherlands, I've already seen several different butterflies, even the hummingbird butterfly. You could say it's a breathtaking spring. Feeding the birds has turned into the fact that these birds are now taking a bath, it's so amusing to see those soaking wet birds. Yes, I also have spring in my head, which unfortunately doesn't mean that the cramps in my head plague me less, in fact they do this more intensely because I now want to do way too much. And again, please forgive me for the lack of comments. Here one of my poems about spring, first translated in English, then in Dutch. Spring Awakening Year after year they gather their strength, each silent string joining spring’s choir. Forsythia beside them, grape hyacinths in blue, and prunus blossoms opening too. Color meets color in joyful array, as if winter’s sleep has stolen nothing away. ------------------------------ Het voorjaarskoor Jaar na jaar het beste beentje voor met iedere snaar zingend in het voorjaarskoor. Forsythia aan haar zijde Blauwe druifjes Prunus allebeide. Kleurrijk de metgezel zie uitbundig dit gelukkig stel op stel en sprong ontloken.
