No, that isn't a good idea. They may last all year but they are IMHO very tacky. lol I don't care for any type of "fake" plants/flowers.
There is nothing more elegant than a dozen fresh cut roses put together in a beautiful bouquet surrounded with fresh Babies Breath as a white accent! These are the type of bouquet's I often choose to give on Valentines day! Beautiful rose image! :-)
