This card I made for a friend's birthday.
Her name is Chiara.
She has really big, beautiful eyes but unfortunately also suffers from Complex PTSD.

I know, I"m supposed to rest (and I am---whoosh, my procedures this week put me in bed!), but I'm just stopping by to say hi and bow to your beautiful creations. This is glorious; and it's always so good to see your drawing and painting again. I love the playful feeling, a compact carnival...and that balloon with all the suns and flowers and fish and smiling cartoon-faces, and the patchwork-quilt feeling of it (lappendeken? a beautiful tapestry made from pieces of life), and the goddess and bird and flowers in the air... and wishes of joy (and vrede)...beautiful, Jacomina. All my best wishes for your friend on her birthday...I hope she heals and has much warmth and peace. And as always, the same for you. (You know that's always my wish.)
