Description
The Valley of Mariner is the greatest Canyon in our Solar System. It is an unique Formation up to 4 Miles deep and several hundred long. There a Chanels on the Ground visible, that early Astronomers thought might be Works of Martian People. The Borders are constantly breaking and the Rocks are grinded to Sand in their Falling.
There are many Speculations how it was formed, the most accepted is that Vulcanism and Earthquakes make the Crust break. The most interesting is that a Wedge of Ice sat there before and the huge Amounts of melting Water formed it. Interesting that NASA claimed in 2001 to have detected lage Reservoirs of Water under the Sands of the Ground...
