Hello dear friends, This is a song by J.C. (Jack) Winslow (1882-1974). Born in England, he became a priest in the Anglican Church. : When all the world to life is waking, And night withdraws from earth and sky, Creation’s song to Thee is making Its praises heard, o Lord most high. Thine is the splendour of the morning Thine is the evening’s tranquil light; Thine, too, the veil which till the dawning Shrouds all the earth in peaceful night. Maker of worlds beyond our knowing, Realms which no human eye can scan, Yet by a wondrous love bestowing Through Christ thy saving aid to man; Lord, while the hymns of all creation Rise ever to thy throne above, We too would join in adoration, Owning thee God of changeless love. What I love about this song is the sense of wonder it expresses. That beautiful and grand creation in which day, evening and night go on and on, honors God as Creator. That reminds me of Psalm 19. In creation and that universe, of which so much we do not know, the earth is only a small part. How special that God gives his love in Christ to the people on that earth! Anyway, this is again an Apophysis fractal, which I hope reflects something of the song.
