Description
Here we have an original character in a mishmash outfit confronting an unwelcome guest at her threshold. Originally intended as a posing test for the two Free Stuff horse pistols, the scene rapidly developed into a setting bash as these things often do. The result was a Greek house turned into a stone micro-manor full of cross-century props and textures pulled from everywhere and anywhere that were largely winked out to reduce runtimes. No loss, really, as the scene is in cache and can serve myriad purposes down the road.
The tundra HDRI used in the image provided wonderful light, but was incapable of more than ambient light - thus the lack of shadow on the doorframe behind the character. Adding a point light could have solved this, but would have highlighted the character too much and compelled a push-me pull-you between the light and the HDRI. Spinning the HDRI to remove the highlight altogether sorta negated the point, so in short, I left it.

WOW... fabulous outfit and marvelous creation !!!👍🙋♂️
Thanks Saby - the outfit is a bash of Western and pirate bits that sort of go together. The character required a little more flair than a milkmaid outfit and not quite as fancy as a baroque gown. At least it all held together in DForce :)
glad i'm not a solicitor.
Me too eekdog. The dude that would have been in the scene if runtimes and an aging desktop allowed it was every bit as flamboyant as the lady. There's supposed to be a history behind this...
Beautifully done - excellent lighting!
Thanks Blue - the light inside the house was set up for anticipated interior scenes and the exterior from a rather somber tundra set that also provided the ground. There's so much good stuff out there, but yet it always seems to be a struggle to find exactly what you need. The tundra saved the scene.
Wall done. Looks like the best method to discourage door to door salesmen
Indeed, illkirch - and porch pirates!
It's a great outfit that fits in with the pistols. Fine expression for what she may have to do.
Thanks, Buffalo - she's a cobbled-together character that came out pretty well. The outfit is a mixture of Western and 'Corsican Raider for G8 Females' on DAZ along with many supporting bits and bobs. It fit well on Autofit and behaved well in DForce. The pistols are available here for free.
