𝓟𝓪𝓾𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓪 – Kurzportrait
Paulina sucht Austausch, keine Konkurrenz.
🌿 ✦ 🔮 ✦ 🌿 𝓟𝓪𝓾𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓪 – Short Portrait "It's always the same with dangerous adventures; they begin quite innocently." Cornelia Funke (1958), German children's and young adult author ✧ ❁ ✧ 🌿Paulina is in her late thirties, maybe early forties, and she spends more time in Elementaris than she would ever openly admit. Not physically — but in her thoughts. In her imagination she walks through this ancient, magical land, meets her characters, listens to them, and then returns to write everything down before it fades into the same mist that once swallowed the old magic. The idea that magic could simply slip into oblivion doesn’t leave her alone. So she sets out to find out what is left of it — and whether anything can still be saved. Her creativity isn’t some poetic high flight. It’s a steady mix of mostly spontaneous visions, ideas that strike out of nowhere, and, at times, the result of simple hard work. Curiosity, persistence, and a probably unhealthy amount of coffee. Coffee is her tool, her fuel, her stabilizer. And when she talks about her story, there’s that unmistakable glow on her face — the glow of someone who is finally allowed to return to her inner (dream)land. Paulina seeks exchange, not competition. She listens, asks questions, and shares what she knows, because she believes real creativity only stays alive when you don’t guard it like a trophy. She makes her share of mistakes, but she never stays down, and she doesn’t abandon her dreams. She accepts changes — sometimes reluctantly — but always with enough stubbornness, or rather determination, to keep going. In Elementaris she is not a classic hero, and she doesn’t truly play a role there — at least not yet. But she is the one who feels her way into this fantasy realm, notices patterns, senses cracks, and records the stories before they vanish again, always open to unexpected turns, dangerous paths, and all magical beings crossing her way. And perhaps that is the very first step toward making old magic visible once more.
