Description
Having successfully navigated the wasteland. Survive the aerial assault, the remaining vehicles slowly make their way through the subterranean roads that lead to the main base of the resistance.
Opposition may be a better description of this resistance....The future for humanity has not been kind. Greed, corruption are dominant in some aspects of society and those people exploit all people without the wealth to compete.
Just outside the sparkling cities where wealth exploits the worst of human nature are the slums, people who exist, slaves of the Elite, broken meat ready to do whatever it takes to have a meal, a working light bulb, a roof. Beyond the slums is nothing but wasteland, creatures, tortured souls, victims of medical experimentation gone wrong and beyond the waste lands is the Labyrinth.
An underground city with roadways reaching many parts of the globe. Too deep to attack by air, too well defended to be taken by land but a constant thorn in the side of the Elite and also a sick form of entertainment for them as they outbid each other in wealth and resources to be the one that finally removes the only threat to their power. The Elites want to own it all without ever realizing that once they do then they will have no other challenges left in their poor excuse for humanity.

Thanks for dropping and only one post for this series today....I felt bad for Vince5 as the intro to this story progressed to fast for him to get his popcorn and be comfortable :)
I am really enjoying kit bashing these scenes together and again the scene, atmosphere and fx are all done in a single render from Daz. I did do a screen blur over the top of the scene at about 10% in post with CS3 and also used CS3 to de-saturate the render a little and stick my tag in the corner. Render time for this was about 2.5hrs at max iterations and time plus I put quality up as well.
Thanks for dropping by and yes there will be more to this series as the story has only just started and I know so many of you through comments and site mail suggest I do a story and I have listened.....took a little time to find something I was comfortable with and my muse was passionate about so lets see how this one pans out :)
Will be dropping by to catch up during the week for sure and almost finished the next installment of this tale....looks like I maxed out the system and will need to do 2 or 3 layers but it must be done...lol

your texture work on this is so crazy good... i can so readily hear the squishing of that mud, and the suck on the tires. and what a great story, which, in some ways, seems to snuggle up against today's reality...
you must have a screaming machine to render on... mine would look at me, laugh, say something snarky and roll its eyes if i tried to anything close to this...lol

As for the PC, RTX4080 16GB ram, I7 CPU and 32GB ram on board. Only this last few months have I pushed this PC to do this level of renders in one go and trust me, I do not miss the Layer render days...lol

Huh, just ordinary accurate photos from the future, no big deal, he got a time-travelling machine... I didn't see it coming but it hits hard as usual. Utterly outstanding awesome sci-fi composition, amazing environment and lighting, brilliant render.

Wow… you’re describing a pretty dark and unsettling vision of where humanity might be heading and it really comes through in every part of this scene. What impressed me most is that you didn’t just tell that story, you visualized it brilliantly.You don’t simply see this world, you can feel it. Giana said its well, the whole atmosphere hits you on more than one sense. The scene is completely immersive. The fog, the dust, the fractured light, all these small effects never feel overdone, they’re exactly what the story needs. The whole image looks like it could have come straight out of a high-quality postapocalyptic movie. Amazing work and I’m really looking forward to seeing where the story goes next. 😮

Wow and truly humbled by your words....I have been seeing you and others recently creating stories and I always try to get people immersed in the visions I create so thank you and makes me fell like this current passion I have for this story to so worth it and more to come, in the planning and setup stages at the moment :)

Those elites never seem to wise-up. I don't think they have the mental capacity for anything other than increasing their $$$$$.
This is excellent indeed! We have a lot of old limestone mines around the area, and many have been converted into underground parking. I've been in those many, many times. You have really captured the feel and atmosphere in this render.
A story would be great..... But be careful. The dang things have a way of turning into an epic overnight. Trust me on this... LOL
