Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing great, I have been going through your galleries and the art work quality of your art work looks awesome! :-)
This is a fan based video of the song "Giorgio" released by Daft Punk in their "Random Access Memories" album in 2013.
The first time I heard this song 'Giorgio" back in 2013 I imagined something similar to the interview I have here in this video. I originally wanted to do it with 3D but thought it would be too time consuming to do it right. AI and the models I used have now allowed me to come close to what I originally had in mind 12 years ago. Giorgio is considered by many to be the Father of Disco and Electronic music. He did a collaboration with Daft Punk back in 2013 upon their release of their album titled "Random Access Memories" He was invited to collaborate with the Electronic music group of Daft Punk. They asked him to talk about his life in the recording studio and they would then use his recording to mix his story into their song titled after him and call it "Georgio"
I always thought he deserved a different venue to tell his story rather than the recording booth surrounded with microphones and therefore I created this video now 12 years later. I guess, it's better late than never my friends. I actually was a bit impressed that it did not look as bad as I thought it would due to the fact that I am very new to this new AI animation workflow. ( I have been doing it for 8 weeks now and have made many mistakes along the way)
The toughest part was dealing with character morphing issues turning the main character into a different likeness. My apologies to Giorgio Moroder and the fans of Daft PunK music, for the inconsistencies in my work with the AI as it exists today. I will not do another one like this until AI improves much more and they ease up on censoring the AI content so much.
I worked with what I was allowed to do with all the censoring issues and tried to create something worthy with the respect and dignity that this great artist and his fans deserve. Unfortunately AI's morphing issues either age you rapidly the more you use the existing model or they make you appear much younger than you are. Given a choice I would probably choose the second choice myself. lol

Johnny oh my God. This is beyond belief in so many ways. Your work is brilliant and as soon as I saw "Giorgio" I was like wait a minute. I know one Giorgio. Giorgio Moroder and his work with Donna Summer. Donna joined the German production of the musical "Hair" in 1968 and in your video Giorgio mentions Germany in 1969. Very exciting work in so many ways, my friend!

I am afraid of what future will be whith AI. People will no longer differentiate between reality and the imitation of reality, so they will be able to believe anything. Recently, the singer of my band send me a link toward a very good country song...But he did not see that this song had been generated with AI, even the CD "cover"! But I must say that your images are perfect, either with 3D software either with AI software!

I am most impressed with what you have done here, Johnny. This is incredible! And I sure didn't notice many (any) flaws in this amazing video. I DID notice the many incredible details in this. The facial expressions were perfect. And all the dancers in the background, and my God... Even the motion of the wine in the glasses. I'm blown away!
I may have to have a look into this at some point when my time issues settle down a bit. I'm thinking maybe a TNA movie?

A part from all the details, background animation/movement, the lip sync blew me away.... This was a great watch, great subject and some awesome blurred lines between AI and reality. I guess tbh is what I like the most is that you can get engaged with what you are viewing due to the length of your clips and that in itself creates for me a need to know more about the subject....I go through my phases of watching Doco's as always something new to learn and this is a perfect example regardless of the medium used to tell it.
I would hate to think about how long something like this would take to create in the 3d world with the typical software we use and to create this quality and detail.
