Ralph marches like a man who’s personally offended by tardiness. His mission: stop the Doomsday Cog.
Behind him, Lilac and Audrey treat stealth like a suggestion.
Lilac moves with cool, deliberate grace, cane swinging lightly at her side and head tilted just enough to say “yes, I know I look fabulous, keep up.”
Audrey suddenly locks eyes with you across the impossible distance. Her stare narrows as she silently leaves you a one-star review.
Ralph doesn’t turn; he doesn’t need to. The air behind him crackles with perfume and judgment.
Twelve minutes to save existence, and his backup is critiquing the audience. Splendid.
