Description
Kathryn (Yes, I name my motorcycles, doesn't everyone?) is a 2025 BMW G 310 R. I rode it to Bernheim Forest, south of Louisville, Ky, my favorite place to photograph my bikes. At 362 lbs (164 kg) this motorbike is agile and nimble. It is easy to lean around corners and returns to level effortlessly. There is something to be said about riding a motorcycle on which you can hardly get in trouble even when the engine is running at high revolutions per minute. With a modest top speed of 89 mph (143 km/h) this motorbike is extremely fun to ride. And it is so beautiful.
