I think the scenes show that we can make the choice to walk in the light, we don't have to choose the darkness. I do believe it is a choice we make each day. Great art as always.

It's always a choice between dark and light. And why the dark side sometimes seems more appealing is a mystery we as a species have dealt with for centuries. We think we have it all figured out - and then things like last November (2024) happen. We are strange creatures, but we still manage to keep things more or less in some kind of balance. Mostly.

Anyway.... You have captured that choice so perfectly here. Just one step to either side is all it takes. Well done!

For me it was end of 2019 that I saw world go mad and the de-evolution of humanity became reality in everyday life. It is what it is and the past is the past so accept, learn from it and move forward to a brighter tomorrow cause yesterday is gone.

To steal a line out of a song by Aussie band the Divinyls, It's a fine line between pleasure and pain and that was the inspiration for this render.

Wow what a strong sentiment that this image can create in people. Never in my lifetime have I witnessed the harsh reality of the human condition as it exist today...this is not a proud moment and history will talk about these last few years as a teachable moment as to what not to do. It seems that darkness has won out and rules at the moment! One can only hope for tomorrow to bring forth brighter days ahead. An awesome image that makes you think about what tomorrow may be like :-)

I agree Johnny.....History will show how humanity got lost and accepted the darker side of nature since Covid but always hopeful and the eternal optimist and can see a great teaching moment for future generations on what not to do.....Thanks for the peek :)

I prefer the first image, but in both cases the Grim Reaper or the Ankou as we say in our region is there; which gives a more pessimistic side to the image. Je préfère la première image, mais dans les deux cas la grande faucheuse ou l'Ankou comme on dit par chez nous est là ; ce qui donne un côté plus pessimiste à l'image.

I am an optimist and although the darkness has appeal, its not a way of life :)
