Description
Autumn is a quite wonderful time of year,
The cooler air creates some incredible sunsets, the still mist ands gentle fogs masking landscapes bursting with vibrant colours.
However at this time of year the larger scale wonders are quite one thing but the smaller wonders hiding in shadows are far more spectacular.
I'm quite keen on photography, it's one of few things from my youth that I still have a burning passion for and this year I decided to try macro photography.
Most of the last few weeks I have been out hunting tiny mushrooms, in many cases some are just a few millimeters tall and very hard to find.
This has driven me to start creating some very different scenes and it also brought to life an unexpected new addition to my growing collection of characters.

I, too, had a passion for photography but, sadly, due to diminishing mobility, I am unable to get out so much. :-(
Nonetheless, I well remember the joy of discovering small things and capturing them on film, and your image perfectly encapsulates that happiness. Great work. :-)
Thank you, I found mine again after switching to all manual lenses, it has made photography fun again.
Though she did need a slightly better camera than were on offer ;)
Cool idea to incorporate your love of autumn photos into your rendered images. What might she have discovered there?
In truth I like to try incorporating elements of my passions or curiosities into my characters and/or scenes, guess it's like showing sides of myself via proxy maybe?
