Doch das brachte Carmaliani nicht übers Herz, immerhin hatte er Trudela davor bewahrt, als Babylarve im Bauch einer großen, bösen Spinne zu enden. Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte. Die drei erlebten viele lustige Geschichten. Einmal zum Beispiel, als sie durch den Wald gingen, verwandelte sich Carmaliani plötzlich in einen riesigen, hüpfenden Donut und rollte Horitaro vor sich her. „Carmaliani, das kitzelt!“, rief sie lachend, während sie versuchte, vor ihm zu fliehen.
