Description
It started as a group of college students partying at the fabled abandoned and so called haunted house in every other second street in the burbs.
They boys and girls were doing what people that age do...drink, laugh, party and ultimately that game of truth or dare. Anyone who watches horror movies knows that the moment the future victims are chill, that's when it all starts.
One girl picked dare and her challenge was to go upstairs, the attic and spend several minutes there with nothing but a flashlight.
The first minute was okay but uncomfortable and all to soon she was calling out for her girlfriends to be there with her and before they could all join her that's when things started to go wrong.....

Just a render that came from a few last blurry thoughts before I went to sleep.
No post work but 2 single scenes, 1 with a character in the chair to cast the shadow and the other without that character then pulled together in CS3 so yeah...post work I guess but not to change the vision :)

Sometimes you just need to post work and this was definitely one of those times or this would still just be an image in my head and its getting pretty crowded in there...lol

I think the amount of time these girls stay up in this room on dare, will be most likely measured in seconds because once they experience things that happen in this room, they will jump at the chance to run away.
Great job in being creative in doing this render in two passes and reaching such an awesome end result. :-)

Seeing that shadow on the wall, I'd probably wet myself, then hastened back down the stairs...
Really spooky atmosphere, and little details half hidden in shadows. Very effective!
