Sometimes, on dark, quiet days, I take a mirror and try to give death a face behind my still living eyes. My face after the end of the years that have been given to me. I vaguely sense what happens behind the mirror, a little more each year that passes. Reassured, because I still recognize myself, I turn away, put the mirror of the other world aside, and look forward to the rest of my life with a little melancholy.

Manchmal, an dunklen, ruhigen Tagen, nehme ich einen Spiegel und versuche dem Tod hinter meinen noch lebendigen Augen ein Gesicht zu geben. Mein Gesicht nach dem Ende der Jahre, die mir gegeben sind. Schemenhaft ahne ich, was hinter dem Spiegel passiert, jedes Jahr, das vergeht, ein wenig mehr. Beruhigt, denn noch erkenne ich mich, wende ich mich ab, lege den Spiegel der anderen Welt zur Seite und schaue mit ein wenig Wehmut dem Rest meines Lebens entgegen.

Ja so fΓΌhl ich mich auch oft. Dann allerdings kann ich die Augen nicht mehr schlieΓen weil mich die Angst, vor dem was mich irgendwann erwartet, wach hΓ€lt. .. und ich schaue mit Wehmut auf mein vergangenes Leben zurΓΌck. Wehmut und Sehnsucht sehe ich in deinem Bild. Sehr schΓΆn :)
Ja, Wehmut und Sehnsucht .... GefΓΌhle, die wahrscheinlich jeder Γ€lter werdende Mensch ab und zu verspΓΌrt. Aber warum so oft mit Wehmut auf das Vergangene blicken? Warum nicht mit Freude oder einem guten GefΓΌhl (wenn es denn so war) auf die Vegangenheit blicken? Aber nicht zu lange, denn sonst vertut man seine Zeit, aufmerksam und erwartungsvoll in die Zukunft zu blicken. :-) Danke fΓΌrs Vorbeischauen :-)
