When I started working on this project last year, I had no idea just how much it would force me so far beyond my comfort zone. Sometimes in a bad way but mostly in a good way. 3D macro is effectively what you see each time you see an image with Isla. I will not divulge her exact height but it forced me to start approaching scenes in a very different way, as every prop or plant, no matter how small, has to be made to a far higher standard than average props and in some cases made to a similar standard to the characters within the scenes. Now this is where I remind you that I am an author first and a 3D artist second, so I'm not ashamed to admit that some props have been brought in alongside ones that I have made too. Truthfully I would love to give more time to making plants, mushrooms, moss etc, but I have stories to tell along with working full time, promoting my author/writing side and running a home. While creating these concept images has forced me to relearn everything that I thought I knew and frustrated me in ways I didn't believe possible. By equal virtue I truthfully couldn't be prouder to unveil them to you and the ones you currently get to see are just the tip of the iceberg. I hope that you enjoy them
