Description
Every year just about every 3D artist I know starts pumping out Halloween renders and of course most sites hold competitions etc, neither of which really interest me too much.
Partly I never really find too much to do with Halloween and seasonal stuff doesn't excite me too much.
This year is slightly different, I'm currently in the middle of a strange nostalgia trip, I'm not sure why but creating images about fond childhood memories feels quite fun.
So this year rather than doing nothing or just a shit Halloween image I decided that I would combine the colours of Autumn with my nostalgia thing and put those out.
P.S (It's not masking that I have way too much going on to do much else heavily involved)

Nice idea. Should also work with snow, later.
Thank you, it's the seasonal thing, it does nothing for me at all, I enjoy seeing what others do with it but it doesn't work for me
I, too, do not indulge in the Halloween frenzy. Also the hype surrounding other days like Christmas and Easter also leave me cold.
I can, however, get behind nostalgia for lost youth. As a 70 year old arthritic with breathing difficulties, I seem to spend a lot of time thinking about the past.
Though I don't think I'd want to go back to them, they do hold happy memories to comfort me in old age.
Your excellent image has reminded me of the times I ran through piles of autumnal leaves as a child. Happy days. :-)
Thank you
Contextually is kind of my problem, when everything is boiled down I'm an Author and Writer first then a 3D artist, so it's why you'll never see Scorpio as a fairy or Isla as a Halloween killer etc.
But if all these images really serve purpose wise is to invoke a brief moment when you have a quiet smile to yourself about a long lost moment then that's my justification.
