She proudly stood before the October House. Was she issuing an invitation or warning?
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.3.1041 using the Superfly rendering engine. Some post work was done within Superfly and a bit more in Photoshop to add a bit of subtle vignette. The witch is based on V4. She is accompanied by the horned owl that is included content with Poser and the Hivewire House Cat (which may be included, too). The setting is the October House by 1971s.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I used a modified version of Vince Bagna's velvet texture to achieve that look. I find his shaders easy to mess with! XD

There are indeed some good shaders/textures here. The teal rug draped on the steps caught my eye.
Textures absolutely make a scene. I had to put mine on a storage drive and the one used for the wood on the musket offered in free stuff was too large for the file allowance....

Thanks, JD! So true about textures! =) I am always fiddling with what comes "out of the box" to improve it for my pictures. Sometimes the results please my eye but probably fall short of what would be most realistic. I like how this came out, though, and it's due mostly to how good the content from 1971s is. Hard to make a silk purse from a pig's ear and all that... ;-)
