I still gat asked to do the sums on the odd job just now days it is no longer a slide rule times have moved I use an TI 90 it dose an great job but nothing beats the slide rule it is great to use and the power dose not run down mid way thru a cal.

The sad thing is this did happen another thing on a site I was on was a workman was working down a man hole he pop up for some reason just as a JCB 21C was moving it's very long arm he never seen it and the driver did not see him the bucket was in the same space as his head and the bucket was harder than his head. Who in their right mind would join the building trades, I did and I would again
