Description
-The Gruesome Spectre and His Precious October Jewel-
On the edge of the old, dusty graveyard lives Clara, a spectacular contrast to the perpetual mist surrounding her.
With her midnight black hair and eyes as chillingly blue as ice,
she is the "October Jewel" of her father, the mysterious Mister Hide-Skin,
a man whose face is so hideous he looks as if he crawled out of a nightmare.
Far from wanting to be a fairy, Clara is a girl fascinated by the grim,
the ancient whispers, and the cobwebs. Her one true delight is Halloween night,
not for the light, but for the darkness that allows everyone (including her father)
to blend in without judgment, and for the sweet, shadowy tradition of trick-or-treating.
However, this year, the tradition is tainted with danger.
An ancient entity, which seeks out beauty and light, has set its sights on Clara's purity.
To protect his daughter, the "Gruesome Spectre" to the world,
must risk everything in a race against time as the orange moon rises.
Mister Hide-Skin must reveal not only the secret behind his horrifying skin,
but also how that very ugliness is the only defense against the magic trying to steal the girl he loves -his precious Gothic Jewel of Halloween.

This is wonderful
Many thanks! =9
cute and creepy. love this.
Many thanks! =)
Total perfection. I am so sorry; however, I Googled your work trying to find if you mentioned your little girl anywhere. You did at Render Hub. Then, I found you again at Daz Studio. I see you used MW Candy for Genesis 9.
Your little girl is better than any I have ever seen in Poser or Daz Studio land. Somehow, you made her even smaller than Candy was supposed to be.
I have Pippy Fay for Genesis 8.1 Female from the same character artist, maelwenn. I am going to attempt to make a little girl out of her.
I have always dreamt of having a character like the Ruth Morehead types or Precious Moments. I have used Kit and Kiki by Littlefox because they are so darn cute. Then, I used Bugga Boo. She is most precious, as well!! I used the baby by Sixous with morphs by Angel Wings. All so good....However...
Your little girl.... genius!!! Two people asked how you made the little girl so perfect. Her skin texture does not look like the texture in Candy's promos. Also, how did you achieve such a tiny body.
If you don't want to give away secrets, I understand. Thank you, in advance, for replying, if you want to :)
Hello! Thank you very much for the messages, I'm glad you liked the character of the little girl I called "Clara". I also love "doll" style characters and cartoons in general, I love "lowbrow" illustration. The characters you mention are truly adorable!
So far, I've only made them in 2D, but I saw the "Candy" character from MW and it seemed perfect for 3D, so I bought it. I also have Joe Quick's cartoons.
I have no problem explaining how I made "Clara", quite the opposite, I like it. For her, I used a blend of morphs. There are two ways to do it, it's very simple, the character itself is already almost perfect.
First, the way I did it:
I applied a percentage of the "Toon Kids for Genesis 9" morph from JoeQuick to "Candy," I don't remember the exact percentage, but it's different for the head and different for the body, approximately 15% for the head and 25% for the body. In addition to the toon kids morph, I enlarged the head even more, maybe 15%, and I also applied 15% of "thin body" to the body. I also modified the nose with morphs, making it a little smaller than the original. I removed the thick eyebrows. Regarding the texture, I didn't like the original one, it's shiny and looks a bit plastic, like a doll. I used the matte, non-glossy skin from another female Genesis 9 character, a pale skin with dark shadows under the eyes and integrated thin eyebrows. That's all.
The second way I used to make other "toon" style characters: With "Growing Up for Genesis" at the age of 6, and slightly increasing the head size by a larger percentage.
An extra detail is the light; it's incandescent light from Laticis Imagery.
Well, that's all, you just have to adjust the morph percentages to get the result closer to what you want.
Thanks for the messages, regards and happy renders!"
