The idea for this set based on two films: RUNNING MAN, a 1987 sci-fi action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger; it's about a game show in which convicted criminals are sent through a labyrinth where various nasty characters with all kinds of weapons lie in wait to kill them. Whoever makes it through the labyrinth and outlives the hunters goes free. THE TOURNAMENT from 2009, starring Ian Somerhalder, Liam Cunningham, and Robert Carlysle, among others; in it, the world's best assassins compete every year to kill each other, with the winner receiving enormous prize money. The "playground" is a pre-selected small town that, of course, knows nothing of its "luck." I created this set from the elements of a labyrinth and a group of elite assassins... SO, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
